Comparison of fungal diversity on woods with different fungal susceptibility during above-ground exposure

Sequential fungal changes that occur on three types of wood are described, namely naturally durable wood, preservative-treated and radiata pine (considered as untreated wood) for above-ground use, during a four-year survey period. The surveys were conducted thrice at 1, 2, 4 years exposure. During the first second exposure, both total isolates species diversity low in each sample, with ascomycetes being most prevalent. Additionally, predominant displayed trivial impact decay. However, after two number communities increased sharply, accompanied by considerable shift basidiomycetes, some which established themselves dominant species. provides snapshot initial stages Further, it reiterates while influenced spores or hyphae surrounding air, colonization is further modulated susceptibility basis durability.
